About Us
The A.S.R.M. Coalition is a registered non-profit organisation. We are an assemblage of asylum seekers, refugees, and migrants in various levels of the legal industry value chain. Our ranks consist of law students, law graduates, legal academics, legal consultants, and legal practitioners. We have coalesced to protect our community’s right to work in the legal industry, through advocacy against exclusionary recruitment practices and other acts of discrimination within the legal fraternity. Additionally, we seek to contribute to the public discourse on issues facing the migrant community within South Africa.
